文化部影視及流行音樂產業局今（4）日公布，繼2014及2015年獲邀演出後，今年臺灣三組藝人再度獲邀赴英國參與於6月22日開始至6月26日之Glastonbury音樂節演出，分別是今年金曲獎以新專輯「搖擺電力公司」入圍四項的「許哲珮Peggy」、以電影「太陽的孩子」主題曲入圍年度最佳歌曲的「舒米恩Suming」、以及曾奪下金曲獎最佳新人的臺灣嘻哈女力「葛仲珊Miss Ko」，三組藝人將登上被譽為「搖滾界的耶路撒冷」之世界最大露天音樂節Glastonbury演出，顯示臺灣流行音樂已成功地獲得歐洲市場注目。

Following the 2014 and 2015 performances, the Ministry of Culture - Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development (MOC) is proud to announce Taiwan has once again been invited to perform at this year’s Glastonbury Festival  (22 to 26 of June).

This year's three outstanding representatives include Peggy Hsu, who has four nominations in this year’s Golden Melody Awards with her newest album Swing, Inc. Suming, nominated for best song of the year with the beautiful song Aka Pisaward from the movie Wawa No Cidal. Miss Ko, new age female hip-hop star who won best new artist at the 24th Annual Golden Melody Awards. Together, they will showcase Taiwan Pop music at the world's largest open-air music festival, the Glastonbury Festival, also known as the 'Jerusalem of Rocknroll'.

​文化部影視局表示，為強化臺灣流行音樂國際行銷，推廣提高臺灣流行音樂在國際之品牌形象，今年延續「Taiwan Beats 台灣音樂 律動國際」作為主題，期藉由三組藝人演出，展現臺灣多元的音樂風格，本次演出舞台包括Pussy Parlure、The Blues及Gully，共有4場。此外，除Glastonbury音樂節正式演出外，並將於活動前夕安排於倫敦東區藝術中樞之「Village Underground」Live House舉辦英國展演記者會與Taiwan Beats音樂會，希望藉由音樂人之間的交流，讓臺灣原創音樂與英國文化能激盪出更多火花，建立往後國際商演與合作機會，刺激並提升臺灣藝人國際展演質量，以拓展國際市場。

With intention of presenting Taiwan's Music to the world, as well as promoting Taiwan Music Image, the Ministry of Culture - Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development (MOC) continues the sprit of “Taiwan Beats”, via the performances of Peggy Hsu, Suming and Miss Ko to present Taiwan music varieties on Pussy Parlure, the Blue and Gully stages at Glastonbury Festival. Furthermore, the night before the groups hit Glastonbury, there will be an international reception and extraordinary showcase night held at ‘Village Underground’ live house in Camden, London. Through the event, we hope to open the gates to further collaborations and the chance for the world to witness the growth of Taiwan original music.

文化部影視局同時表示，臺灣自2011年起加強參與歐洲大型音樂活動，持續深耕歐洲市場，該音樂節策展人Malcolm Haynes則於去年底再度來臺參訪，與臺灣音樂界接觸互動密切，本次亦前往台東鐵花村實地感受臺灣在地特色音樂展演現場氛圍。由於Glastonbury音樂節一向以裝置藝術聞名，Malcolm受到鐵花村熱氣球造型的環保Led彩繪燈籠吸引，已訂製500個將在本年音樂節現場展示，讓臺灣設計的文創商品一同前進國際。​

Taiwan has been actively participating in Europe’s major music events since 2011. The Ministry of Culture - Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development (MOC) continues to engage in Europe market. Malcolm Haynes, one of the Glastonbury festival organizers, also keeps close contact with Taiwanese music makers, exchanging ideas and experiencing Taiwan’s local music atmosphere at Tiehua Music Village in Taitung. As Glastonbury festival is also known by it’s installation arts, Malcolm was very impressed by the eco-friendly painted LED hot balloon shaped lanterns at Tiehua, and has since ordered 500 pieces to decorate the Glastonbury festival venue this year, this is also a chance to show the world another side of Taiwan’s creative culture.

英國草地音樂節包含60個舞台，演出團次超過三千組，是全球音樂文化及表演藝術的重要舞台，即便未公佈演出名單，門票仍在去年底開賣後半小時內售罄，而今年公布之演出者有靈魂女聲Adele(愛黛兒)、英倫風代表Coldplay(酷玩樂團)、搖滾天團Muse(謬思樂團)等重量級音樂人，這場世界級國際盛宴，精彩可期。

Glastonbury Festival is an iconic music and performing art festival, the largest Greenfield festival in the world. Tickets were sold out in seconds, even before announcing the lineups. This year, we are excited to see soul artist Adele, Britain’s own Coldplay and Muse, and expect to be blown away by the rest of the lineup.

創辦於1970年代的英國Glastonbury音樂節，為目前全球最大規模的當代表演藝術露天音樂節，今年公布的演出者將有靈魂女聲Adele(愛黛兒)、英倫風代表Coleplay(酷玩樂團)、搖滾天團Muse(謬思樂團)等重量級音樂人。繼去年樂團的精彩演出，台灣將再次用音樂震撼來自全世界的樂迷。

 

許哲珮今年憑著新專輯「搖擺電力公司」獲得金曲獎「最佳國語專輯獎」「最佳女演唱人」「最佳專輯製作人」三項大獎入圍，並在 Glastonbury 策展人 Malcolm Haynes 來台舉辦講座時的讚賞，並稱這張專輯「Swing 得非常美好！I like this !」，隨即獲得音樂節邀約，許哲珮並將在6月23日登Glastonbury舞台演出後，趕回台灣參加25日的金曲獎頒獎典禮，而同時入圍金曲年度最佳歌曲的Suming舒米恩表示，因為演出時間無法趕上金曲獎，他將在Glastonbury音樂節穿上阿美族傳統服裝演出，並將在Glastonbury音樂節舞台上演唱自己的「年度最佳歌曲」。

 

 

在前往Glastonbury音樂節演出之前，策展團隊特別精心安排了位於倫敦現場展演之聚集聖地「Village Underground」Live house舉辦英國展演記者會與台灣之夜音樂會，作為本次活動之造勢與宣傳，位居於Shoreditch的「Village Underground」為倫敦最新潮文化的重鎮，擁有爆炸性的文化融爐，這裡有展演空間、獨立商店以及前衛藝術展區，至2008營業至今已有無數樂團演出！希望藉由演出的交流，進一步建立可能的合作機會，刺激並提升樂團的質量、與彼此投入國際市場活動的密度。

 

 

英國Glastonbury音樂節每年均有數十萬人前往朝聖，即便2016年的演出名單尚未公佈，門票仍在去年底開賣後的半小時內售罄，音樂節策展人Malcolm Haynes於去年年底來台時拜訪台東鐵花村，對鐵花村外佈滿以熱氣球造型設計，並以環保Led 發光的彩繪燈籠深深吸引，這款由台灣設計師以台灣第一個熱氣球打造新鮮形象的鹿野高台，自2011年開始，於每年6月底～9月初舉行熱氣球嘉年華，清晨與傍晚的熱氣球飛行表演而設計的文創商品，並已購買了500個燈籠來佈置Glastonbury音樂節區域，一向以裝置藝術聞名的Glastonbury，2016年將會有台灣設計的文創商品露出，將提高台灣文化創意的能見度，此次影視局將再度帶領臺灣藝人及樂團登上世界級大型舞台，亦將拓展視野經驗、接受最高規格的音樂節文化洗禮，再次締造臺灣流行音樂史的里程碑。
