「Taiwan Beats」台灣音樂 律動國際

為了讓台灣音樂律動於國際，並且推廣台灣的音樂文化與風格內涵，積極拓展與國際交流接軌，尋求獲得音樂的認同與支持，今年文化部影視及流行音樂產業局將再度組團前往目前全球最大規模的露天音樂節，素有「英國伍茲塔克」之稱的英國Glastonbury音樂節。

本次代表台灣的三組藝人分別為—如跨界創新的原住民歌手 舒米恩(Suming)，台灣女子嘻哈代表人 葛仲珊(Miss Ko)，甜蜜迷幻爵士華爾滋精靈 許哲珮。

在前往Glastonbury音樂節演出及朝聖之前，策展團隊特別精心安排在當地時間6月21日週二，位於倫敦現場展演之聚集聖地—「Village Underground」Live house舉辦英國展演記者會與台灣之夜音樂會，作為本次活動之造勢與宣傳，位居於Shoreditch的「Village Underground」為倫敦最新潮文化的重鎮，擁有爆炸性的文化融爐，這裡有展演空間、獨立商店以及前衛藝術展區，至2008營業至今已有無數樂團演出！我們將讓台灣音樂在這個舞台上發聲！

‘Taiwan Beats’- Taiwanese Music hits the world

Our aim is to further promote Taiwan's Music Scene, to gain acknowledgement and support, for the world to hear our music, feel our culture. This year, the Ministry of Culture - Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development (MOC) will again be working to send a company of artists to perform at the world's largest open-air music festival, the Glastonbury Festival, also known as the 'British Woodstock'.


This year's three representatives include Suming, aspiring innovative Aboriginal Singer; Miss Ko, new age female hip-hop star; and Peggy Hsu, sweet, mystical, jazzy singer-songwriter.


Before the commencement of the festival, a special event will be held on June 21st local time at the infamous Village Underground Live House, including press conference and exclusive performances. Village Underground is located in the city of Shoreditch, famous for its vibrant art and music scenes and its hidden boutique shops. Since its establishment in 2008, Village Underground has hosted countless international artists and is the perfect stage to showcase Taiwan’s music.
